The reality is that weddings can be costly, but you shouldn't get discouraged by having a budget in mind.  Remember - there are plenty of choices out there, so don't worry if the initial quotes you receive are outside your budget.  Many places will negotiate with you or they will at least attempt to work with you on alternative options.  Wedding is perhaps one of life's greatest celebrations, and as such we understand how important it is to have everything right.  Many venues will try to accommodate your budget while not making you compromise on the important things.  Below is the list of the suggested questions to consider before making a decision:

  • What is the cost of a destination wedding at your resort, or is it included in the price of our stay?
  • Do you offer a set destination wedding package, or do we choose the elements individually?
  • Can you email a price list to me? Do you expect those prices to change by the date of my wedding?
  • If I want to bring friends and family members, do you offer a discount on the price of rooms?
  • How many guests are permitted at your standard destination wedding? What do you charge if we exceed that number?
  • Do you require a down payment? How much? When is the balance due?
  • What is your cancellation policy?
