New Yorker's weekend in Disney World

Here is the review I just got from my client who returned from Disney World with her 6 year old daughter.
Dear Alex,
I would like to thank you for making our travel experience to Disney World in Orlando, FL unforgettable. I am saying this as a jaded New Yorker. We cannot wait to come back and take the full family.
Please feel free to share any of the text for the purposes of your travel blog etc.
First of all, thank you for your patience in explaining all the different combinations of staying at Disney World and answering all last minute question while we were already in FL. Based on your clear directions and willingness to help at any time of day, we had a very easy experience.
We chose to stay at one of the Disney resorts (Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter), purchase a 2 day pass and a basic dining plan.
The dining plan was perfect; it was accepted everywhere; we paid for everything that was above it like alcohol or an appetizer for dinner.
I highly recommend staying on the Disneyland properties. Everything is super easy. We had access to both free buses and water taxi. We took advantage of a free shuttle to and from airport (~$60 one way otherwise). We also took a motor rail when we went to the Grand Floridian, a fancy hotel, to have dinner with the princesses.
We went to the Magic Kingdom. My daughter is 6, so we mostly stayed at the Fantasy Land.
She loved it!! While in Magic Kingdom, I recommend purchasing fast passes which let you skip long lines. There is a limited number you can get within a certain time period but it's great.
There is a new restaurant modeled after the castle in the Beauty & the Beast that accepts dining plan as well. We went there for lunch and it was lots of fun for lunch.
We came back at night to see a show and meet & greet princesses. And she loved that too.
We stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter. The property was meticulously maintained and gorgeous!!
The rooms are dated but we spent very little time there. We enjoyed the pool which has a fun slide for the kids.
One downside to it is that there is only one restaurant on property and it is fast food. We ate breakfast there but then for dinner went to the sister property by boat taxi (you can easily walk there in less than 10 min) and they have several options for dining there including a sit down restaurant which we chose.
Lastly, I highly recommend dinner with the princesses. We met Cinderella, prince charming, the mouse and the stepmother. Each of the characters walks around and greets each child!!
The dining plan also covered this meal. I also highly recommend checking out some of the fancy hotels. We only got to see one, the Grand Floridian, but there was great music and lounge/bar. We ended up taking motor rail to the Magic Kingdom from there (also included in the package). Gorgeous views.
I was surprised to see lots of couples of ages but after leaving, I can honestly say, adults can have a phenomenal time there too. There are other more adult oriented parks and everything is super well organized. One exception, and this is coming from a very impatient, stressed- out New Yorker, there are lines.
We cannot wait to reach out to you again to help us plan our next experience!!
Thank you, Alex!
Lina
